Dara is a multi-faceted, community minded woman who is the co-founder of BAB’s Filmworks and Just Blessed Productions and the founder of Deekyshaeel Entertainment. She has generated a great deal of buzz because of her fearlessness and for challenging herself with every play she directs or writes which appeal to all genres and age groups. She is a constantly sought after to produce, write, direct. facilitate. or give presentations about her theater expertise and road to success.

In 2011, Dara founded the performing arts conference, Success in the Arts, with the special guest panelist Kim Wayans actress, producer, playwright and author who calls Dara her New York Connection. The mission of Success in the Arts is to educate, enrich, and empower all who seek to express their unique voices and point of view through the performing arts.

In 2017, Dara was inspired to take SITA to the next level and produced the first Film, Video and Performance Arts Award show.
